The Walking Group meets twice a month usually on the 2nd and 4th Monday.

However, on the ^9th September the walking group enjoyed a wonderful walk through the

Burnley Gardens.

Of the 13 ladies, 10 had never been to the Burnley Gardens, on the Victorian Heritage

Register as a site of state and potentially national significance.

Some highlights were the mud brick hut, sunken garden & Wisteria walk, Lily ponds,

rose garden and much more.

The Boulevard and Heidelberg Road (Melways 31 E10) at 9.50am.

There is limited parking at reserve, but street parking is available in The Boulevard.

East Kew - Leader Norma Griffiths - Meet at Stradbroke Park corner of Belmore and

Burke Rds. Parking available in Burke Road beside football oval.

We will walk through the park and bushland behind Kew High School, cross Kilby Rd

and head towards Hays Paddock (Melways 45 K4).
