President Pat Davies’ Address:

Hello everyone,

I hope that you are all staying warm and enjoying some of our recent sunny days.

Mind you, it is difficult not to be too jealous of our members who have been lucky enough to holiday in a warmer climate and thus escape some of our winter weather, particularly these cold nights.

This month we welcome back our esteemed Membership Officer, Peter Gibbs. Hopefully he has had a great holiday and maybe we can persuade him to share a few moments with us?

Now that the FIFA World Cup is behind us, perhaps we can concentrate on more important issues, such as AFL. The season seems to be progressing rather quickly and it will be no time at all before we are talking finals!!!

Of course many members will be enjoying the Victorian Commonwealth Games being held in Glasgow. Thank you Mr Andrews (NOT).

I do look forward to seeing you all at our next meeting on Monday, ^3rd August.
