The Walking Group meets twice a month usually on the 2nd and 4th Monday.

11th August - Highfield Park, Camberwell - Corner Riversdale & Highfield Roads (Mel 60 E2).

Meet at car park between the two ovals in Highfield Road. We will walk down Highfield Road to either Beech or Acacia Streets, through to Lynden Street then up to Hunter Road, left up to the corner of Hunter & Highfield Roads for coffee at Dish & Spoon. Short walk back to car park.

25th August - Fordham Gardens, Camberwell - (Mel 60 G4).

Meet at Fordham Gardens in Tyrone St. We will walk around gardens then down Gilbert Parade green parklands to tennis courts and Culliton Road. Walk under the railway line to Fordham Avenue. Turn right at Fordham Avenue and walk to Fordham Dairy opposite Hartwell Station. Coffee at Fordham Dairy. Then back down Tyrone Street to Fordham Park.

On 14th July six ladies visited the ‘Chronic block’ at Mont Park, built in 1916 and refurbished in 2004. Now used by LaTrobe University, Victorian Environment Protection Agency and Australian Institute of Archeology. We also enjoyed an informative and scenic walk at Cascade Reserve, Springthorpe.
