Outings

On Tuesday 24th September, with lovely fine weather, 30 members attended an outing to Tarrawarra Museum and Gallery at Healsville in the Yarra Valley. Our guide, Nicky, gave us an informative tour and an insight into the current exhibition after which we had some free time to wander and form our own ideas. Lunch was at the Grand Hotel in Healsville. Thank you to all who made this such a pleasant day.

Victoria Mantynen, the vocalist from the Vera Lynn tribute, is back to perform her new

show “PLAYING SECOND FIDDLE”.......... Major song, Minor character. Show stopping tunes from hit musicals including Guys and Dolls, Les Miserables, Oliver, Show Boat and many more.

This Pleasant Sunday Afternoon is again being held at Renaissance Living in Riversdale Rd. Surrey Hills on 10th November at 2:00pm. Cost $25.00 p.p. which includes show and a home cooked afternoon tea with tea and coffee.

There is ample untimed parking on both sides of Riversdale Road.

PLEASE NOTE............. names and payment will be taken at the October meeting.

* Sadly, I am relinquishing the role as Outings convenor at the Annual General Meeting in March 2025. I would love 1or 2 members to ‘step up to the plate’ and volunteer to take on this role. If nobody volunteers, then this vital part of our Club will discontinue. Please give this request some serious thought. I am only too happy to explain the requirements of the position to anyone interested.
